One down, two to go! (Don't take this as an indication of my future speed - I was driven, I tell you - driven!) This is my completed "Daring Tank" from Knitting Pretty. For more pictures, and a back
shot, visit my blog. My tank is a variation on a variation. I changed the shaping at the bottom, added an extra set of straps to the bottom section, and used fellow knitter Libby's ribbing. I also opted for a single strand of ACS, rather than doubling a yarn, though that looks great, too. It's really cute, but it is daring. I'm thinking of re-naming it the "I'm
Naked! Tank" - one false move and I will be (hence the extra straps!).
Nyondo Reports Progress
Nyondo has updated her blog with a new pic of the Boatneck Shell.
And On The Home Front
I've got only an inch and a half or so to get to the armhole decreases on Goddess. I have to remind myself that I'm knitting it in the round, so it only seems like I'm halfway done. Still loving the Calmer. Looking forward to the next tank which will be Kate from Phildar's Spring/Summer Famille magazine. I joined the Kate Along, so it technically won't count in the TankAlong, but it's so darling I thought others might be interested in checking it out. I'll be using some Rowan All Seasons Cotton in a color called Valour from my stash. I have enough to make a matching hat too!
I resisted Giotto yet again when I visited the LYS today. I was so tempted, but I'm just not sure that the cost justifies the result yet. I'm also not sure whether I'm up to knitting with it. Rolling other ideas around for a tank of my own design...
And send in your pics of progress and FOs. We love to see 'em!
I am going to join the Kate along, as soon as I've decided on a yarn. I want to make the tank version AND the pullover version.

Update - I've completed 3.5 inches of the back of the chevron tank. I am using Lion Brand Cotton Ease in blueberry. It is my work-at-home project, so it will not get a lot of attention this week!
