That's Maude! Isn't she beautiful? She's still awaiting edging and shoulder seams, but she still looks fabulous. Anyone else have progress pics to share?

She looks gorgeous! The colors remind me of an old Mexican blanket my mother owned... very festive, it just pops. I think Vera (from the same booklet) will be my next project. Maude and Vera seem like sister tanks, except for the color scheme and the neckline. :) Good luck finishing!

Oh, that's beautiful! I love those colors, and the simplicity of the pattern allows them to stand out! Being *very* new to knitting, I'm still in the one-color, one yarn, no stranding/weaving mode. Maybe this will jump-start a multi-color knitting frenzy for me. (Hello, Kaffe Fassett!)

It looks great! I have long coveted this tank and wanted to make it. Eventually it will get on my official "to do" list. Until then I will be living vicariously....

thanks for all the lovely comments! the tank was really simple. i don't think i mentioned it, but i swapped in the vera neckline. maude has a high round neck and they don't look very good on me. sandy, you're right, they're pretty much the same tank so there was no weird math to be done to use the other neckline.

I thought that neckline didn't quite look like Maude... good taste! The v-neck seems like the perfect height, not too high and not too low.

I have just ordered the Missions Falls pattern book for that as well as the 1824 Cotton needed to make the Vera tank! I was making the chicKami but I was not enjoying working in the round.. soo.. I liked your so much I went out to find the book and then saw the vera and liked it even better!
http://knit.mediadiva.net shows the yarn colors I am going to work in. Sea & fog. Thanks for the inspiration!
