Part Dog, Part Cat

I think my dog Bud is part cat. Not because he's the size of one (20 lb. chihuahua/terrier mix), nor because he's often quite indifferent when meeting new people. It's because of what I saw on my bed this afternoon:





I know that he's been spending time with our cat, Alice:



She likes to sleep in the laundry, too, and she's actually taller and longer than Bud.

Maybe Bud's just sleepy - or really, really smart.
