Things I Haven't Got Time To Knit
Seriously? Now I'm all for innovative knitting, but this strikes me as just a little bit ridiculous. Jorn sent me the link to the Mr. Gadget post about it. It's supposed to provide "privacy, warmth, and concentration" while using a laptop computer. Sounds like suffocation to me. Remember when your mom tried to pull that too-tight sweater over your head and it got stuck?

I am nearly halfway through a Julia shawl in your Casbah and it's all your fault! (Thank you!)

The color is the only redeeming factor.

Ugh. yeah. No. Would not ever use such a thing... I STILL hate getting my head stuck in a garment in that way!!!

That is the dumbest thing. Ack! Claustrophobia! (Though I like the color.)

ROFL! the next time someone here at work asks me to order a privacy screen, I will show them this.

That's got to be about the most ridiculous idea ever. I certainly hope it's meant to be a joke! How many women do you know who would be willing to do that to their hair??

I saw this on the craftzine blog. it's more of a tongue-in-cheek thing than a serious thing. "They're supposed to be a fun commentary on how attached and concentrated on technology we are, and to highlight the lack of movement that happens when we're engrossed in our laptops, keyboards, PDAs, etc."

Wow. I feel sweaty and claustrophobic just looking at the picture. Wonder if anyone has put it in their queue in Ravelry ;-)

No, please, none for me, thanks.
