Friday Night Fun

The new camera is great, though I haven't really had time to do more than stuff the batteries and the SD card in it and take a few practice shots. Still this pic of Kevin and Kelli muggin' with her new Bamboozle swatch wouldn't have been nearly so cheery and bright with the old camera. Color me pleased.

Last night Cookie, Jeni, Hannah and I met up with Cara for dinner at the Empire Tap Room in Palo Alto. We laughed and laughed. Hannah is great entertainment and we all got on like we'd known each other for years. After dinner we walked a couple of blocks to meet some other bloggers including Lucia, Freecia, Kristi, Lisa and Jocelyn. I don't get a lot of time to socialize with knitters outside the shop and it was so much fun to sip hot chocolate and nibble on crepes and knit for a while. We closed the cafe down and then loitered on the sidewalk, blocking pedestrian traffic and gabbing about Beefcake exhibits at Stanford and all manner of bizarre topics. I grabbed the camera and snagged a quick shot. L to R: Kristi, Cookie, Lucia, Jocelyn, Jeni, Hannah and Cara. Thank you, ladies, for a most enjoyable evening. I really must do this more often.

i had so much fun! i swear i've known ALL of you all my life. thank you for laughing at my life - it's quite amusing. :) hahhaha! my favorite part was hugging you. being 4'11" has its advantages. much love ~ no blog hannah
