That Jetset Lifestyle
The concerts on Friday and Saturday went fantastically! Three standing ovations during each concert and standing room only both nights. It was phenomenal. The addition of stage lighting and the energy of the two choirs singing together made it a truly unique experience. And Daniel, our illustrious director, dedicated one of our tunes, Together by Ted Lucas, to me and Kevin, so the whole audience knew of our engagement and congratulated us afterwards.
We've been so delighted by people's enthusiasm and support. Thank you for all the comments and good wishes. I apologize that I haven't had time to respond to any of them yet. We haven't set a date - we have so many other things happening right now, we're content to wait a little while until the time is right.
After a late night meal after Saturday's concert, we stumbled home for a couple hours' sleep before heading for the airport and flying to Indiana. The Music Playhouse training went fantastically well. Both Kevin and I got to teach two classes and it was unbelieveably fun to sing and dance and be silly with so many little kids. We arrive home last night tired, but energized and ready to get the program started here in the Bay Area. We'll be looking for places in Menlo Park to start our first classes.
And there has been a bit of knitting here and there. Not much on the plane to Indiana, the Dramamine saw to that, but I have nearly finished the first Blue Moon sock in the Farmhouse colorway and I cast on for Martha from Rowan 37. The second front of Lucy is well on the way and we have a blessed evening alone at home tonight, so we're about to pop Ray in the DVD player and have a nice quiet night together.

What a gorgeous couple you are. Happiness wears well on you. Hell, even sadness wears well on you. I'd appreciate it if you could get a little less attractive before Rhinebeck, for my sake. (hee!!!) mwah!
